The Challenge

Berlin Food Stories needed a complete new design
with lot’s of new pages which needed to be implemented.

The Solution

The website was developed in WordPress which is an
easy-to-use CMS.
A unique, custom Photoshop-Design was converted to WordPress.
As the owner and food enthusiast Per presents a lot of restaurants,
there was the need of a map in order to show where each of them is located,
as well as a calendar for organized events.

The Challenge

A fair voting process was the key principle of the the competition.Thus, this was the challenge for the Entrepreneurship Campus.

We had to make it as fair as possible so no one could have the possibility to commit fraud.

Developing the scoring system, we achieved
the fairest process ever, so none of the participants was bothered bz people trying to cheat.

The Solution

The website was developed in WordPress, which is easily manageable in every aspect and uses a custom developed part for the project submissions and the voting process for participants. Besides, there´s an eLearning section included with various videos.

Briefly, Theapolis is several things in one. For one, artists can create their own profile for a small yearly fee to be present themselves and be visible, and apply for published Theatre jobs. Theatre productions on the other hand, can contact individual people on their profile, post jobs, or see the applications they got. In the forum, like-minded people can discuss various topics. On the marketplace, people can offer their theatre-related services. Last but not least, there’s a blog available with the latest news on theatre.

The Challenge

Since the beginning of Theapolis, not much has changed, while on the web as a whole many things were new.
After sitting together, we’ve come up with a list of technical and security upgrades, much better overall performance, implementation of a new more user-friendly design and various improvements.

The Solution

Theapolis.de has a dedicated team of five people at Manoolia. As the relaunch list of features is a big challenge with lot´s of things to develop, we split it in shorter, more frequent releases. On the first release, which is already reachable online, we focused on the backbone by upgrading Symfony and doing minor UI changes. For the main release, we have rewritten the whole structure modular to be flexible, implemented new features, and setup the new design to give a significant new user-experience.

The Albanian Investment Council was set up by Albanian authorities to reinforce the dialogue between the Albanian government and the private sector,
supported by the EBRD (European Bank for Reconstruction and Development).
Additional support is provided by a Secretariat of independent professionals selected and contracted by the EBRD to directly engage with the business community.
The Council is designed to improve the dialogue between the private sector and the state authorities,
with the goal to enhance the prioritisation of policy reforms.
